Practicing the presence of God
We live in a world that challenges Christianity and its moral code, yet people are still looking for an experience of the spiritual. The Church has so much to offer people when we invite them into an experience of God through the scriptures, prayer and worship. In the book of Acts we read:
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. (Acts 1:8)
In the middle of winter, during the coldest month of the year, we are going to come together and warm our hearts by spending time in the presence of the Holy Spirit!
We will meet for the four Sunday nights in July; 10th, 17th and 24th and 31st. This will be our 6pm service and we aim to finish at 7.30pm each night.
There will be praise and worship, prayer for one another, listening for and sharing God’s messages. In the teaching time we will be exploring the spiritual gifts as outlined in Romans, 1 Corinthians and Ephesians.
You can find out more about the event with this short video on YouTube:
